Z Cup fairing and accessories
on: April 27, 2018, 05:37:56 PM
Hi All,

I'm looking for a store to buy a z cup fairing, or maybe something similar. I thought that it would be nice to replace stock seat, tail section and add a belly pan to my Z.
I've found a Z Cup official partner, company called "Carbonvice". Looks like they produce fairing for Z Cup racing, but unfortunately they do not respond to my request to sell their stuff.

Have you seen any online shops where Carbonvice is selling their items or maybe you seen something similar to what Carbonvice do?

P.S.: Except Puig and Ermax.

Dont know about the tail plastics, but Ive covered the topic of the belly pan in the belly pan thread. You can find it here:

https://www.mdesignsmotorsport.com/z900-2017

Website is mainly in Spanish but does offer English translations, just a bit difficult to understand some parts. One thing to be aware of, it states on the website that the belly pan wont fit with the standard exhaust, the breadbox gets in the way. Youll need a full exhaust system to be able to fit it. Curious about the tail plastics now though, will start having a look around.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to order the ZCUP belly pan to the US for over 3 months now.  I've been able to source other parts from the EU, just not bodywork at a reasonable cost.

I asked Sharkskinz to produce 1 and found a donor bike for them to measure but it's not high priority for them so who knows how long that will take.

M design motorsport does not have them in stock. The last I heard from them is around May 1, but before that they said April 1.

Like you, I've contacted Carbonvice directly but they seem to have no interest in selling in the USA even though I provided a tax ID so they could sell bulk order @ wholesale.

Somehow a guy on Instagram got a Z Cup tail section or something like it. Looks like he has the belly pan too. I have to find out where he got that tail! Ill report back if I find out.

Yeah I could have gotten 1 from Europe a few months ago, was going to be over $500. Figured they would become more generally available and reasonable on shipping. I figured wrong  :003:

In the meantime my racing buddies keep sending me pictures of Turkey pans from the grocery store. I might have to if I can't find anything else by  mid-August.

Any on the mysterious belly pans  :008:

My Z needs one, and other things, but heck it's hard to source some parts still here in the USA.

Has anyone ordered this belly pan from www.motocomposites.com their prices seem reasonable and they have some cool carbon fibre parts as well. Couldn't get a hold of a Z cup so looking at these.

Tighten it 'til it strips then back it off half a turn.

Hi,

I contacted M designs motorsports in regards with the belly pan.

They advised me that Carbovince only produces them for the Z cup and whenever this happens, they deliver some stock/leftovers to them. They do not have stock now but they will for the next Z cup
