No more green? If not when would some become available?...also ima bigger guy...not sure if that matters or not...just don't want my seat all squashed or stitching coming apart after a few months...I don't use the rear seat...I have a seat cowl covering that...any deal for just 1 seat?...
Because of small profit (and time required to make), I don't have any plans to make another batch. If I get 6 people (or more) ready to commit, I would re-consider...

I sent you a PM about the rest.

Thanks for inquiring  :821:

Just a quick question in case you decide to make some more. They look great and wished I had jumped on this earlier. I have since purchased the Tall Seat and was wondering if this is an upgrade to just the stock seat? The tall one definitely provides more padding but yours seems better. How do you compare yours to the tall one? Thanks.

The kit I was offering uses your OEM seat as the foundation. It's all about the foam, how its shaped and its density. The tall kawi seat is an improvement over stock but its still uses the same foam density as the stock one (just more of it), so its hard. I have even added a thin layer of foam over the tall kawi seat and still didn't like it. This is how my seat came about because I wanted a simple/quick solution but nothing was available. The Luimoto looks great but that don't change the angle...its just an even layer of (thin) foam. The Corbin is expensive (understandable) but don't like how they shaped the foam. When I first got my Z, Corbin didn't offer anything so I went on a long test stage in making different seat options. By the time I finished, I learned a heck of a lot (from the earlier failures).

FWIW: Yesterday, I went on a little trip to celebrate its 10K mile mark. Three fuel stops and 11 hours on bike - While the last 3 hours were tough, NO WAY would I have been able to complete that on either of the two kawi seats.

Still have that last red stitch and rear wheel sticker set available? I've got the green frame on my Z and have been throwing in red accents here and there (clutch fluid cap, brake reservoir, mirror delete caps, etc.) so I'm curious how the seat stitching and graphics would match up with everything.

While not a direct question about this seat that you put together, I do have a question for you about the Z900's seat. Is it possible, or how difficult would it be, to make the seat more like a supersport's seat. Mostly flat and slanted forward, like an r6/1, CBR600/1000, ZX6/10, etc. I'm really looking to make my Z feel like a supersport, and get rid of the upright seating position. Would this be doable with just moving foam around, taking it away from the back and putting more in the middle? I don't have a spare seat or I would tare mine apart!

Easy because foam can be shaped any way you like. You can even use closed-cell foam (which really dense) - I've used EVA type padding (on different seat applications) and thats the stuff they use in MotoGP. But because its really firm (and usually 5mm to 8mm thick), not good for rec riding unless one makes a race day only spare seat. I actually have a large sheet of it still...

BTW: The re-shape of the foam on this Z900 I did/offered made for less foam in the rear and more in middle and front.
