I find the seat is fine for about two hours or whilst in the twisties but after that its noticeably uncomfortable. But there arent too many bikes that are different unless you buy a tourer.

Read all replies to this post. I'm from UK and just got my Z900  ( Black on Black)  4 days ago. Thanks for tips on Chain tensioning during Run - In period.
Tail Tidy, crash bungs and Rad guard only mods so far. Going to get a Scorpion exhaust when I can afford it but from what I've read the Oem tyres are   terrible.  So want to change them next.
Love riding the bike and look forward to getting past first 1000 miles 😎

The OEM tyres are ok in the dry, but they certainly dont inspire confidence in the wet . . So, if youre going to do any sort of riding in rainy winter weather  I reckon changing the tyres is a good move.

I think Im going to go with the Road 5 s as they seem to have the best reviews for the U.K. all year weather.
Id definitely recommend the Scorpion exhaust system , I went with the full system and the RP1-GP  silencer, it sounds like a formula 1 Car 😁

If my bike sounded like a car I'd get it fixed😊
Z1000.  I had a 900 so you'll never get rid of me. NEVER!

😂😂
Nice when your bike sounds like a multi million pound race car though . Lol
