Dual Exhaust
on: December 11, 2018, 06:01:02 AM
Does anyone know if itís possible to put dual exhaust on a 2018 Z900. The Ninja 1000 header or Z1000 headers look like they might match up.

When I spoke to the people at Delkevic they told me that their Z900 headers also fit the Z1000 and the Z1000SX if that's any help.

Z1000.  I had a 900 so you'll never get rid of me. NEVER!

I have a Delkevic full system wonder if I can just purchase the Y section and another 8” mini. Dual exhaust would look really nice on the Z900.

Wonder if they use z1000 rear pegs as well for mounting.

It looks like they used Z900 pegs. You can see the exhaust mounting bolt on the right side but not the left. I think Iíll go with a hanger over pegs if this works out.

I decided to try out some cheap Z1000 headers off Ali Express. They were almost as cheap as any used stock exhaust I could find so I figured I might as well get something that wouldnít need modified if they fit.
They were $130USD for the set that would accept stock mufflers/slip ons. The set that includes link pipes were $160USD. Shipping was $63.79. Ordered them on a Saturday and got them the following Friday.
The brand is Anodizing. Same brand that a couple people got their Z900 headers from.
