Abba Swing Arm Removal Kit
« on: December 27, 2018, 11:27:16 AM »
Does anyone have Abba Swing Arm Removal Kit installed (https://abbastands.co.uk/product-detail.asp?item=swing-arm-removal-kit&pid=21)?
I was thinking of fitting it permanently so that I don't need to remove the frame covers every time I want to lift the rear (for the chain lubrication in the summer, I'm now using a rear paddock stand but I'd prefer Abba).
The question is if it can be fitted  when the frame covers are in place, it kind of seems it could be possible, the 'neck' of the piece looks long enough. The other question is if the pieces are too long so that they would hinder shifting or braking in any way.

I placed an order of these. I'll update if they can/cannot be used with the covers.
