I highly doubt these are truly GB racing covers. They may have come from the same factory, just lower quality control. It's a risk, if you don't mind throwing away $100 then give it a go, just make sure they aren't going to cause any problems when you install them.

Yep they are probably fakes, but that's why I am asking if anyone has tried them before I throw away another $100. Some of this stuff is amazingly good but you just never know till you get it. I am hoping someone else has been the Guinea Pig.

There was a post and a video recently about a similar set.
I also ordered one from from aliexpress

Hey thanks for that, that's just what I was looking for. Post up what yours are like when you get them. Did you get the ones with JB Racing written on them?

Just received the covers. Will install them this weekend. The quality seems and feels good.

I have GB Racing engine case covers and they look awesome on the bike! Have friends use them on other bikes and praise the quality and finish.
