Gonna try a supposed improved led headlight bulbs
« on: March 05, 2019, 05:52:25 PM »
Just order these h7 leds https://www.amazon.com/Headlight-NAO-Headlamps-Conversion-Headlamp/dp/B078NCB75Y
These supposed to work better in reflector housing and the bulb plate is the same size as halogen bulb so no need for spacers or modifying. Came across a discussion here https://advrider.com/f/threads/h4-led-by-evitek-f2-has-achived-the-same-focus-as-h4-halogen-bulb-new-2018.1286743/
For 20 bucks its cheaper than some halogen bulbs. Worth a try. Waiting on shipping so will report back later.

These certainly look to good to be true but LED lights improve monthly. Let's hope they work out.  :028:

Post up a review with thoughts on installation. Thanks.

Well finally got the led bulbs installed. Its not a straight up plug and play but they actually fit without spacers. It was sorda a pita trying to get the clip to stay where it would put the most pressure on the bulb to stay snug. The only way I could make it work was by putting the ring on the bulb first and work the clip around it. I also replaced the drl and license bulb with t10 6500k. Theres a lil light scatter but not enough to blind anyone and you can see the cutoff line pretty well. 1st pic is low beam and 2nd high and low. Its much brighter than the philips motovision halogen.
