Short pull throttle tube
on: March 24, 2019, 10:40:39 PM
On my fz-07 I used an R6 throttle tube from motion pro. What that did was allow me to go to full throttle quicker with less motion. I didn't think it would be that great until I tried it. Wow did it improve that bike.
I'm looking for a throttle tube for the Z that will allow me to do the same thing... any ideas or has anyone found one that would work

If you want to use the r6 tube. You will need a new kill switch and housing. I have an extra set. $30?

I was actually hoping for a throttle tube that would fit my housing with the same effect... didn't know if maybe someone had tried this already

I've been wanting to do the same from what I've been reading,
the R6 tube fits z1000 and a lot of other models. Looking to see if I can
get a motion pro tube.

Recieved the r6 motion pro throttle tube today... it fits perfectly.. just need to add a bit of cable on the housing side by throttle adjustment.  Literally took me 6 min to install. No mods necessary... I have pics but I can't upload them... I can tell ya...sitting here in the garage it really does shorten up that stroke ... let ya know tomorrow how it actually changes out on the street
