Low beam just quit working (didnt pop)
« on: May 12, 2019, 04:20:55 AM »
So basically what the title says. I was just riding into work and like 4 mins in I think gee its awfully dark. I switch to the high beam and that worked.

In the parking lot I could see the filament in the low beam and it looked unbroken. I cycled the key off and on to no avail.

In about an hour or so I can bring it in and check the plug and the fuses.

It's weird... besides plugging in the phone charger and the tail tidy I've had no indication of anything going wrong.

So I was able to look and reach behind the low beam light and the socket came undone!!! I pushed it back on but it's still super loose.

Also I've noticed the brake light is INOP. I've checked the fuses and no dice. I'm about to check to see if I'm even getting power back there....

EDIT so the brake light isnt INOP its always on!

Update update lol so the rear brake light switch was adjusted to the point where the light was on
