Street's trip to the Tail of the Dragon
« on: July 22, 2017, 04:17:33 PM »
I'm heading out to the Tail of the Dragon before morning. 9 1/2 hour trip. The bike is in the back of the truck. My personal friends throughout the US & UK will meet me there. I will be there for seven days. This is my fourth time going. I will let y'all know how she does when I get back. I hear US roads are not as good as U.K. roads (that's what I hear from my friend Martin all the tome) but it's what we have here. Hail Cockwombles!

Awesome be sure to update us.   Really planning to move to eastern Tennessee so I wouldn't be that far from all this good riding.

So in certain parts of America you have to drive for 10 hours until you find a corner?
I guess thats why American motorcycles evolved into Harleys.  :047:

Tighten it 'til it strips then back it off half a turn.

No, just to find 318 turns in 11 miles.

Well I'm still in the mountains and phone/wifi is very limited. I think the Z900 rides well. The stock tires seem just fine. I have no problem sticking it though the corners. No mishaps riding yet but I did drop her on the left side slowly in the gravel because of my brother is a dumbass. The T-Rex frame slider hit the gravel first and no damage what so ever. I'm happy about that. My woman HATES the rear seat. Took her hundred fifty miles today on the back. She said her ass hurts so bad. After a couple hours the rider seat is unbearable on the longer rides. Maybe I'm just old. One of my friends crashed his 08 zx6r but he's okay. I helped a guy take his H2 off the trailer. I will have to post the H2 pic later when wifi is better. Also the Z past a thousand miles today.

Surprised that anyone rides as a passenger on this bike at all, let alone 150 miles!  She is a better woman than I!

My better half came out for a ride last weekend approx 100k , didn't get any complaints but she did say that she kept on skidding forward, may have to look at something on the pillion seat that is more grippy. :082:
