Intake runners
on: July 16, 2019, 02:56:30 AM
What's going guys its been a while since I am in here do to work and family.
I ordered a Race Filter for my bike. I currently have an Escapaentos Full Exhaust. I also ordered a 200 tire to see if it fits since my 180 is toast lol.
I want the mean look on the bike, I know is different so lets see how it looks and if the tire fits.
Anyways, to the topic. Does anyone know why the bike has 2 long runners and 2 short runners and if anyone has cut the long runners on the intake? Also, if it makes a difference on cutting them or not.
I will be ordering a 520 chain kit from Sport Bike Track Gear. adding 4 teeth to the back and keeping the 15th tooth on the front.
Eventually, I will but the Power Commander for the bike and a quick shifter.
I was also wondering if anyone recommends a ECU Flash, if so who do I go to. I dont care about the warranty of the bike lol.

Thank you guys and gals in advance for any input.

Kawi designed the runners like that to give the intake howl you hear as the revs build up.
