Am I a bad person?

A neighbor of mine is really into his car cleaning and worships AutoGlym products. His cars are very clean and impressively shiny.
He asked me what I used to polish my bike and when I told him "Mr Sheen" he walked away, in disgust, shaking his head.
I laughed, but now I'm racked with guilt. Should I be doing a more to protect the Green Godess?
All I usually do is wet her with hosepipe, apply Silkolene Wash-off spray, wipe over, with microfibre cloth, rinse and repeat. I use a soft brush in her many nooks and crannies. Oooer!
I'm not using any shampoos, waxes or polishes apart from Mr Sheen. I feel she deserves more.

MucOff miracle shine on the paint
Turtlewax Ice on the plastics
GT85 engine, wheels, swinging arm etc.

I feel your guilt Cazzy R you need the Z wrapped in wood look vinyl then Mr Sheen will not look out of place to your neighbour .

Used mr sheen on all of my other bikes ,have started using vulcanet wipes for cleaning

I use those Vulcanet wipes quite happy with them . I have in the past for black plastic used wd40 on a rag for a shine .

I had to look up Mr. Sheen, it looks to be furniture polish like Pledge here in the states. It's best to protect your new shiny paint with a good wax and/or polish or else it won't stay shiny and new looking for long.

I use MucOff - got 10 litres for £23 off amazon

jet wash (on low) power so it doesnt blast all the grease and lube from the nooks and crannies) , remove crud, pour a bit of mucoff and foam spray liquid into a bottle, the bottle connects to the washer, foam the bike, leave it 5 mins, wash off with clean water, microcloth, job done. Use my bike all year round for 3 yrs , looks like new
