Its a great bike! And its good to have you as part of the forum.
Look forward to hearing your ongoing experience of the Z and any upgrades you make.

Thanks!  So far I have done tail tidy, tank grips, LED headlight bulbs & 3rd light, frame sliders, rear spools.
I have had the MRA windscreen on order for ages but it is still back-ordered...
Considering a slip-on, Yoshi or Akra most likely.
Also replaced the rear tire with a Q3+ when I unfortunately got a nail in the OEM rear tire.

Nice mods.
Probably being forced to change the OEM tyre is a blessing. They really are rubbish.
And before you spend big on a slipon check out the $8 exhaust thread on this forum. As most of the muffling is done in the under bike breadbox youll probably be disappointed in the result you get with just a slipon. They do look a heap better and carve off a lot of dead weight, but you wont get much difference in sound.

Welcome!
I am looking at that MRA windscreen also since it looks like our temps are dropping. Who are you trying to buy it from? I'd be interested in feedback if you get it and try it out.

Enjoy!

I ordered it on Aug 5th from Solomoto.  Latest updated from them is that I should have it by the end of next week.  I'll let you know when I get it how much it helps.

Try to get a front tire soon to match your rear.  I know well how much it rains in Seattle!  The stock tires dont do well in the rain!

Greetings from your neighbor in the Lacey/Oly area!

Just bought my Z900 yesterday, so maybe well catch each other out on the road.
