What are these brackets on the "breadbox" for? I think they are from where the stock muffler's shields were? What would you guys suggest for hiding these ugly bits of metal?

Looks like Gen 1 slip-on's will fit the Gen 2.  :027:

The breadbox looks smaller on the Gen 2.
