I ignored the tire complaints until I almost lost the bike in a dry corner. Went with M9 RRs 😁

Same was for me at the first km's, tyre just slipped in turns and roundabouts even at low speed..making me put sh#t in pants....

"Keeping up with much faster riders...." ))) yeah yeah, tell us more

My latest bike was a Suz GSZ-S 750 with Bridgestone S-21 and i found the tires to be A1 in all conditions.  i also hear that the S-22 are even better. Has anyone tried them on Z900????

I’m on my second set and I’ll be buying a 3rd. After I got rid of the Dunlops (at 350 miles from new) I tried RA2 and RA3, they’re good but nothing on the S22, it is now my tyre of choice for the type of riding I do. They’re awesome.

I was keeping up with much faster riders yesterday on much faster tires and I never had a single oh $@!% moment.

I almost want to not like them just based on the fact that so many have commented on how terrible they are, but I just have nothing bad to say...

I got 11K miles (not km!) out of the OEM Dunlop Roadsmart 2's.  Not bad.  And I don't ride gently on SF Bay freeways.  Grip was very good in turns at high lean angles, although I didn't ride in the rain.  Second set of tires is Dunlop Roadsmart 3's.  Have 4 K miles so far:  good grip and wear seems good so far.  34.5 psi front + 36 psi rear.

The Roadsmart 2's must be better than the D214's from what I can see from the discussion.   That said,  my new tyres are much better than the Roadsmart 2's.   Went  with T32's.

I do my own tires and I'll ride them til they are well done but with the d214 I changed them while they still had all their tread. Awful tires.
    I went with Conti RA3.

Conti RA3 are a fantastic road tyre and work extremely well here in the Uk given our mixed conditions. Underrated in my opinion, probably the best tyre I have used over the last 25yrs on a range of machines.  :002:
