Soooo. 
Based on, a mileage of less than 3800 miles/year.
When should the 2nd service be carried out?
12 months from purchase date OR 12 months after the 1st (600 mile) service was performed?

Cazzy-R when I picked mine up from a service the words were "ok we will see you in 3750 miles or 12 months" I know how I read that so would expect to have to be there in 12 months irrespective if I had reached 3750.

Best bet is to question your dealer as your Z is under warranty.

This problem can be solved by putting more miles on the bike
