Anyone fitted an alarm where to fit?
on: May 27, 2020, 02:33:42 PM
Hi guys I know an expensive alarm is a waste of time and money certainly as far as far as insurance discount is concerned. Having had a bike stolen with a datatool alarm on I wouldn't spend 300+ to fit one but a cheap simple  30 one  maybe that makes a noise. My main question though is if anyone has one fitted any brand where was it put? as space under the seat area is extremely scarce as it is.

Maybe put a tracker on it? Cheap and easy to follow on your phone for the police lol

Otherwise, anything that can make a noise and send you an alarm on your phone could be great. Have you looked on amazon? They got some low price stuff there with reviews

My concern is more where to fit it as space is at a premium under seat. The only place I can see a reasonable amount of space is where tool kit is.If anyone has an alarm fitted where is placed?.I have a bike specific alarm from Norman Cook no cutting into wire etc  in mind who I have bought from before.

If youre not interested in a proper alarm, why not just get an alarmed disc lock or something similar? I know oxford make one thats pretty cheap.
