No expert but itís gonna run cooler because itís less restricted. You can look at your plugs after riding it awhile and I think if white means running lean, if black then running rich.  I would think itís best to hook up meter/ computer on a dyno or whatever to know for sure. I wouldnít want to take a chance and run it lean possibly ruining motor and voiding warranty. Good luck!

I just installed the full exhaust on my 2020 Z900 and blocked off the AIS. The engine appears to run cooler than when it had the stock exhaust. Does that mean the AFR is not lean and itís safe to ride? What should I be looking for?
It's too much of a pain on a modern bike to do a proper high speed throttle chop to get a reading on the plugs.
You won't realize full power from the system until you install a low restriction air filter and get it tuned and dyno'd.

Iím taking the bike to my tuner to check the AFR on the dyno to make sure itís safe. I already have a sprint air filter and will install it once woolich comes out with the tuning for the 2020 model. Then Iíll have the ECU flashed and the bike dyno tuned. Iíll keep you guys posted.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks. 👍

thats pretty interesting as i looked through the options list on woolich page: EVAP disable.  which is not on the list for 2017-2019 models

but my tuner did, tick this option for my bike

bike got Check Engine light On, after maybe few hours of tuning the bike on the dyno..... he was like..... emmmm that should disappear, his guess was its due front wheel standing still.... said : go for a ride and it will go off.....

later he advised to go to Kawi dealer to check through the OEM diagnostics and maybe delete error, as his showed ZERO ERRORS...... when i arrived to Kawi, a guy said:  WTF IS THAT?? WHY EVAP disconnected?? reconnected EVAP plug back and error gone  :001:

Update: So I went to my tuner today and apparently the ECU cable is different for the 2020 so he is going to overnight the new cable. More to follow...

Did you change the air filter or do you still have the factory paper filter?

I have the full system and sprint air filter and is running super cool and Iím in Florida where is super hot right now. The software is out but the cable to connect to the ECU is different. My tuner is still waiting on the cable. Canít wait to get it tuned.
