    To set the record straight I did not TELL anyone to to anything.

    What are you trying to achieve? Your saving about 20p against a genuine Kawasaki filter and it will invalidate your warranty as will that 15w/40 oil your using.  Why not just use the proper stuff? It won't cost you much more, if at all, and everything is still kosher with Kawasaki. Your breaking the warranty rules on a public forum. Think about it. :018:

    Well you did tell him to use the proper stuff. But, it was saying that he was voiding warranty by using another brand of oil filter.  That brought me into the conversation.
