-1 -> kit type 1 -> stainless steel braiding, steel end-fittings and bolts.

-2 -> kit type 2 -> stainless steel braiding, aluminium alloy end-fittings and bolts.

-3 -> kit type 3 -> kevlar braiding, aluminium alloy end-fittings and bolts.

-4 -> kit type 4 -> double carbon fibre braiding, aluminium alloy end-fittings and bolts.

To have a look of the technical characteristics have a look of the page 9 of the firm catalogue.

The ready-to-fit brake hose kit you need is the number 162152.

This kit replaces all the brake lines AND THE RIGID PARTS AS WELL and keeps the ABS.

THE HOSES ARE T.U.V CERTIFIED.

This is the reply from fren tubo.

They have a UK outlet: Motobull.
I looked at their stock but they didn't list the Z900.
They did have ZX10-R ABS which I would expect to be in the ball park, price wise.
 You can afford it.

I have sent motobull an email asking about prices for a type 2 kit.

At those prices I don't think so....   :033:
Maybe next year, but having said so I am hoping Hel will do 40% off again at some point this year or Easter next, like they did previously and I might go for them instead. Cant imagine I would see/feel any difference between the two.

What about Wezmoto? Their address is scarily close to HEL and I heard someone bought some lines from them and they arrived badged up as HEL.
It wouldn't surprise me if they were a subcontractor for HEL UK and the Wezmoto lines are made up from the components.  :027:

If you convert HEL prices into euros its  about 220 so not much cheaper than a completely full fren tubo  kit.More cost effective on older bikes. The metal  piped hoses from Kawasaki are several  100s.From my perspective the HEL kit is only listed for 2017/18 models not my 2019 and a full kit which replaces everything for only a relatively small price extra.Admittedly none of them are cheap but safety never is.
I don't intend to change mine yet as bike is still relatively new and has to be as per conformance certificate  to be re registered in Spain and for that, it has to be as built from factory to get the equivalent of SVA test done.So all the mods have to come off for this test then can be put back after.
Better to arrive 10 minutes late in this world than to arrive years too early in the next.

Could be, they look very similar. There are no 2017- Z900 lines on their website, but they have them for sale on eBay for 150 (50 cheaper than Hel), I ve added them to my watch list.
I will more than likely change original lines next year when its due its 2 yearly fluid flush, but might buy them sooner if some sort of deal comes up, thanks for the tip.

I live there during summer anyway just a natural progression to full time once  Brexit has been sorted and we know what to expect in Spain for us Brits.
