Just a follow up on this post....

I noticed a significant flat spot on the low end from 2500-4000 rpm.  I cleared it up by changing the bike to "sport mode" and I am totally satisfied with my exhaust mod now.

Was that from Road to Sport?  My understanding is that Road and Sport are 100% power just different levels of traction controls 2 vs 1 respectively, not really applied power like via maps.

I was originally on 'rider' and went to 'sport'  and have good results.  I never tried 'road'.  If I had to guess they are making changes to fuel and timing.

Road, Sport, Rain are presets.  Road is Power level F(ull), traction control 2; Sport is power level F, traction control 1; Rain is power level L(ow), traction control 3; Rider is configurable with power F or L, TC 1 ,2, 3, or off.  So you could have low power mode with no traction control.

Okay i didn't realize you were in Rider.  Maybe your Rider was set at L from the factory; and clicking from Rider to Sport gave you full beans.  My Rider was set at F and 1.

Try your bike in sport and see if you notice any difference... Have you modded your exhaust?  Sounds really good and is only 79db at 4k.

I tried rider mode (full power and no TC) for about 500km to see/feel if there is a difference from sport mode which I normally use. Except TC, did not find any differences. Thats on stock 2020 Z900 (EU).

Gary, Id love to hear your setup with the stock muffler! I saw the breadbox cat deletes on EBay, much cheaper than a header

I will try to post a video, but this site doesnt let you load large files.  Regarding the mid pipe from china...the seller declared the value at 15.00 so I never received a duty tax.
