Dang, you're doing great.  I'm only seeing around ~40 mpg on my stock 2020.  Once I start commuting back into the office I'm sure I can increase that.

Whilst it is interesting to see what fuel consumption can be obtained. Personally I only look at the range/ fuel gauge as to see when next to fill it up.I expect to get around 45 mpg everyday average  maybe a bit more on long motorway runs.I certainly wouldn't bother with a spreadsheet if it needs fuel it gets it at whatever cost.
Better to arrive 10 minutes late in this world than to arrive years too early in the next.

Did anyone actually choose to buy their Z900, in preference to different bike, because it was more economical?  :027:
It didn't even cross my mind. Not for one second.  :110:

Tighten it 'til it strips then back it off half a turn.

Not totally.  I did check Fuelly to see what people were averaging vs the capacity of the tank.  I was planning on using it to commute on as much as possible.  I was not a fan of the tank size of the MT-09.

I usually get around 50mpg not taking it too easy with a couple of redline trips. The trick is not to cruise in 2nd gear at 60mph when you are not getting on it. Around town 45mph I am cruising in 6th. It is not the track after all.
