Hello Everyone!

So then, after having a minor accident with a friend of mine (outbraked himself and ran into my rear, abs can be tricky sometimes), the Zed has been finished.
Had to get a new exhaust, and, luckily, I managed to get a hold on a Z900 CUP exhaust (Ixil full racing line), the Bitubo shock absorber and a new Rizoma Handlebar.

The shock was mounted today, so I still can't give much of a feedback, but it's looks faster standing still, so so far so good.  :001:
The exhaust is VERY loud. The Jeskap one I had was already on the loud side, but this one is very chaotic. More initial torque, same midrange, but lost a bit of the top end! Hopefully, one day I'll be able to map her out and take care of that.  :008:
The handlebar is better for me, a bit racier, you lean forward a bit more, for those looking for something sportier, but not as much as the renthal one's, it's a good pick!

Next week is time for a new drive chain kit, but i'll keep the 525 pitch. A good DID Chain and ergal sprockets, and she's almost perfect.  :001:
Also managed to get a pair of Supercorsas BSB's, can't wait to give them a good scrub.

Here's a couple of pictures! Thanks to all of you. Enjoy your Zed!

What adjustments has the shock got and did you have to cut a notch out of the frame cover for it to fit? Also, what front discs are those?

So, this shock is adjustable in low speed compression, high speed compression, rebound, preload and Length. I did have to cut the frame cover, since the racing bikes don't use it it didn't fit properly. And those are Braking WK152 discs, the stock one's had so much play (front to back and side to side) in them that I just couldn't ride around with them anymore. Kawasaki here in Portugal didn't give new ones under warranty so I put these one.

Really nice score on the ZCUP exhaust...its unique cuz its fully welded 1-piece.

Did you change fork cartridges? Would seem unbalanced to just do rear...

Unfortunately, up front it only has thicker oil and springs. I'm saving up a bit for the cartridges!
And thanks, the exhaust is pretty cool and rowdy.  :001:

Tighten it 'til it strips then back it off half a turn.
