This morning 8:30 Nov 5 - little bucks are anxious, and breeder bucks are cruising a bit more now.

They know that breeding time is just around the corner.  Daylight hours are very close to being 10 hours... the Does will come in estrous then.

That is awesome... great footage and definitely envious.

Is the orange on your arrow required ? I always just refletched with white canes and nick to watch the flight.

Thank you ras... but I don't think my filming would make the cut for the MeatEater series. That is my favorite outdoor show.

I use fluorescent wraps so that if broadhead stops on exit side shoulder or leg, it makes it a bit easier to see arrow placement as deer crashes off.

And No, it isn't required. Although, bowhunters are required to wear blaze orange during the muzzle loader season. We are not allowed to bowhunt during the shotgun season.

WOW .. spell check kicked my butt
It should have said white VANES and white NOCK.

We just do not have the deer herd or habit to experience that action around here.

This morning, Nov. 7 - worth more than the price of admission... lions, tigers.... and a MEGA buck!

That makes two heavy antlered bucks on the property... one on the West side and one on the East side.

This morning Nov. 12 at 8:30 - This is the second time I've seen this buck. He walked into my wind path at about 100 yards out... providing a good look at this oddity.

This afternoon Nov 12 at 1:00 pm - This group of 5 and another group of 4 this morning... still in their family groups with fawns in tow. It appears that full-out breeding activity is about 3-4 days later than last year.
