New Z900 arriving tomorrow
on: October 26, 2020, 07:02:31 PM
Hey guys. Long time reader, first time poster. After what seems like days of YouTube videos and reading everything on the internet ive got a new Z900 arriving tomorrow. Got my full licence 10 years ago. I live in the UK so had to go through 50cc, 125cc etc then took my test. Have owned an mt03 and have driven a mates ninja 650r a few times. After reviews and driving modes the Z900 seemed like a decent choice (while respecting the bike being key).

I havent owned a bike for a couple of years so planning a couple of refresher sessions with a police unit before taking the Z900 out on more than just local slow roads (as I know its a bit of a pair jump). Hopefully you dont think Im mad for the purchase! Haha.

Same here, I got my license over 10 years ago and Z900 was my first "proper" bike, I completed Enhanced Rider Scheme prior of buying it and have been learning and improving ever since, you will start to really enjoy it as you become more and more confident in your abilities, good choice  :028:

Welcome and congratulations! As said before the Z900 is an easy bike to ride, it was my first bike after over 5 years without one. Just be prepared the first time you rip hard on the throttle, it surprised me how much torque was felt since my last bike was a 2009 zx6r which had much less torque.
