Anyone running a Willy firetong pipe? How is the build quality and is it insanely loud? If so, does it have a baffle to quieten it a bit.?

Given its pretty much the same setup as the CS escapamentos, I can give you the dB levels of that. With the dB killer its 98dB, without its 101dB.

Itll be on the black sticker on your frame. From memory, its something like 91dB @ 4,750 revs. Remember that for every 3dB increase, the perceived sound is doubled, so at 100dB, the perceived volume has doubled 3 times.

Mine is 89 at 4k rpm.  I removed breadbox and cat and using factory header and rear muffler.

Same with my Black Widow.
Last year the $$$ went into savings not knowing how bad the covid situations were gonna be + where the household might need it more than my bike, I thought about it all Summer.
We're surviving and been fortunate not to get it yet, Solid 3 weeks of OT hours this month told the Wife I was moving forward where I left off last year.
Pulled the trigger Friday then felt some buyer's remorse, - I know when it arrives that'll quickly be gone...
Enjoy your pipe too  :028:
