Warming bike in cold weather

I let it warm up in winter. Usually till it has 2 segments showing, sometimes 3 depending how cold it is outside.

A few years back, I was ringing in some cold weather. Looked down at gauge, and had no segments showing. Had to keep it below 30 mph to keep the engine temp showing.

2 hours after I got back home, I could feel my fingers again.

No riding lately here, either raining or too cold. Tomorrow suppose to be 58 but a high chance of rain, my Z turns into a pure mess hitting the road after it rains including the back of my jacket! Looks I’d been in a sand pit...lol
