ah, that makes more sense, likely the exhaust is going to be one of the last things i order, akra's website gives me a migraine with how the list their headers and what works, but, just did my midnight...erm.... 3am shopping and placed a couple orders on the web for various stuff (tail tidy, led blinker bulbs w/ flasher since we get old style bulbs in the usa, spools, shorty black w/ blue levers, driven racing ais block offs, battery tender leads, and a usb outlet).

that leaves me to order, front peg style stand, exhaust, phone mount that wont destroy my iphone xr, and pulling the ecm out to be shipped off to two wheel dyno.

luckily i wont be going to insane waiting as winter is finally making an appearance and im in the middle of prepping for a snowmobile trip

They are popular on the ZRX forums, as you can imagine not many make pipes for a 20 year old design.

I like the link pipe with oem slip on because it appears stock and the average cop would not know any different. Mine also came with the collar to weld onto the breadbox (central muffler) and can be swapped back on quickly in the event of inspection laws changing, and the gutted cat would be unnoticed aside from the smell being somewhat noticeable. As far as the flash, I would recommend if you are doing mail in to 2 wheel dyno works that you make the exhaust decision first so he can flash to your setup unless you dont mind taking the ecu out and sending out again. The bright side is he will do free reflashes for life and you only have to pay shipping but at least for now with how slow the shipping time has been that would be a real hassle. If you want an idea of the sound with only a slip on you can easily remove the oem muffler and see how you like that though for many of us that wasn't quite loud enough and full systems were too loud hence going link pipe with oem muffler. If I were going full system I personally love the look of the cs escapamentos system and price is also really good. At least you have a good bit of time to research and make decisions!

Was having dinner with the owner of the kawi dealer. And he recommended that system, he has it on his personal bike. Reasonably priced, and seems to be decent quality from the pictures

From what I have seen delkevic has come a long way over the years so for the cost you can't go wrong. Worst case if you don't like the slip on I believe their header can fit any of your liking including oem even.

Kinda was my thoughts also. See how it holds up, worst case is pick up a new/different slip on down the road if it doesn’t hold up. Right now that fits the budget a lot easier, and can get the ecu sent out middle of March I’m looking at. Which would have it back to me by around April 1st, which by then we should be on the warming side
