 I have the same SC Project knock-off from Ali-express.
 Quality is really good. Very light. It may even be real carbon fibre.  If it isn't I can't tell the difference.

Yes, I have the Akrapovic that comes with the Performance Edition and it fitted straight on, as did the carbon heat shield.

Perfect! Thanks for your reply! Is the noice not too obnoxious with this setup? I would be running the performance package Akrapovic slip on with the DB killer installed.

I once did a test drive with the personal Z900 of the dealer. That one was fitted with a full-system Akrapovic. I found it to resonate a lot in my helmet while driving, and I wasn't a big fan on how loud it was. However, I can't recall whether he still had the DB-killer fitted or not. On the contrary, my Z900 - with performance package Akrapovic slip-on, DB-killer and breadbox still in place - sound a bit too silent for my taste. Definitely when I compare it to the Ducati Scrambler of my girlfriend (breadbox, but silencers removed from the Termigione slip-ons).

Everyone's idea of what's loud and what's not is different. I wouldn't want my Z to be any louder than it is with the Akrapovic slip-on, breadbox delete and Cat retained, but some would say its not loud enough and fit a full straight through system.

For me this is the perfect setup as I also thought the bike was a little too quiet even with the Akrapovic but didn't want it as loud as a full system.

If you go this route and find you want it even louder, it's not too much to gut the Cat later on.

Just to jump in on this thread, I’ve fitted the breadbox delete pipe on mine, used the same pipe MZ900 did. First off, it sounds great. However, I don’t know if mine was made slightly differently, but I’ve got the Akrapovic slip on that comes with the performance package and it now sits higher than before so I can’t use the carbon hanger that came with the slip on. Bought a generic hanger to solve the issue but the result is that my heel now hits the slip on because it’s higher than before. It fits over the standard headers perfectly and clamps where the breadbox did, but the angle must be slightly off from where the breadbox was. Here it is with the new hanger fitted.
