looking on Ebay people are paying 5 to 10 times what you have in yours  :164:
This weekend I am planning to pick up a  2 1/2" piece and play with that

Summit Racing has a ton of exhaust tips. I was thinking this one might work, but it only comes in pairs and they're a little pricey.

Hey Ras,  I rode the bike today with this pipe on it and was expecting nothing except less weight on the bike, but to my amazement this little bit of pipe is giving me a beautiful exhaust note that isn't loud but just a perfect burble that gets better as you rev it, I am amazed. It must be acting like a wind instrument and is amplifying the sound coming out of the breadbox. You could probably tune it to different notes by lengthening  or shortening the pipe. I am very happy now, for me its the perfect sound without being obnoxiously loud.
I was thinking or trying 2 1/2 inch as well but with this sound I think I will leave and see how you go if you do it, good luck.

Hey that's looks very similar to what we are making here minus the slash cut, I just went for straight cut, Ras did slash. I wonder if slash cut still puts out the sound I am getting with my one.

that is awesome to hear you like it  :821:

I am buried in snow and it will be a couple months before I ride again. I will not slash cut the 2 1/2 and will be able to compare the 2" with the 2 1/2" both cut and uncut  :028: unless somebody else out there can do it before me

I will be spraying her black but beyond that until I get to run her come the end of March / April I will not be cutting or slashing her down  :028:
