Shorty exhaust doing harm?
on: February 22, 2021, 06:47:26 PM
This is an exhaust question...but itís more of an inquiry and not a ďdo I need a tuneĒ lol I was wondering how shorty exhausts actually affect the longevity of the engine. Iíve read a lot of conflicting things that itís bad for the bike or itís okay with modern day bikes and I would like to know what yíall think in terms of the z900. I have the 2020 with akra headers and M4 slip on but Iím wanting to get the shorty exhaust from radiant cycles on Amazon to have it come out from underneath. Itís essentially straight piping as the exhaust looks literally like a long exhaust tip (I live out in the country and donít ride near heavy populated areas so it isnít gonna be a nuisance to others mainly) I just want a cleaner look and was hoping to gain some insight on if itíll do more harm than good.
