Guys & Gals. Been noticing my Z has been getting hot on the last ride , up to 4 bars on the dash.

Going to check the radiator level over the weekend.

My question is that any special radiator fluid to top up with ?

just checking that you mean that you  will check the over flow level....... much easier  :169:

as for coolant just make sure that it is for aluminum systems, my dealers sell it in quarts which comes in handy

Most bike shops will have their brand of pre-mixed coolant that will work to top off your coolant tank.  :028:

Myself, I keep Honda coolant on hand and have used it in all my bikes for years.

Just make sure that its safe on aluminium engines and mixed metals (alloys)

    Most are thesedays

I use car coolant with anti freeze already mixed in, and have done for 35+ years, without issue/problem. But if you want to pay more for motorcycle coolant, that does the jonb just as well, go ahead  :030:

the biggest reason / suggestion would be because it  can be bought in qts for just topping off VS buying a gallon

ah, didn't think of that. I don't do it, as I flush every tray anyway, but that's not to say someone else might want to just top up
