Tools to keep in a tail bag
on: April 13, 2021, 04:30:58 AM
Trying to put together a mini-tool kit for road side repairs, hope to never need them. But rather be prepared. Got the Nelson-rigg commuter lite coming.
Heres my current list (feel free to recommend a kit or brand, but trying to also stay economical)

-long reach metric Allen wrench set
-1/4 metric sockets with 8,10,12,14 and 17mm I believe cover the most common sizes?
-crescent wrench for a just in case
-Zip ties, duct tape, electrical tape
-tire plug kit

Anything else I should think of?

A small multi-tool. I'm going to get Bahco MTT121 (very small) or Bahco MTT151 (if not too heavy or bulky).

I'd definitely include a knife or multi-tool with a blade.
