Parting Out 2018 Z900 with 2,300 miles
on: April 29, 2021, 12:09:06 AM
If you need something let me know.

This bike does not have the stock exhaust, it has an SC exhaust (from Brazil I think). It also does not have the passenger footrests.

Over the next few weeks I will be taking the entire bike apart, including the motor (the bike went down and cracked the block on the right side hence the part out).

Most of the plastic pieces have scratches, but not all.

Is the cylinder head without scratches or cracks?

Bike located in SC?

You need to post pictures.

Bat1, I'm not trying to be a dick here but did the bike have any type of frame sliders when it went down?

I'm looking for short levers.

Can't see how to edit my post. I got the exhaust mixed up.

The bike has a CS Racing full exhaust not SC.

This: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152945234994

Not a scratch on it except the oval end cap is  rashed up.

Just getting started on disassembly. Will post pics once I figure that out (this forum works differently than the one's I'm familiar with).

Bike seems to have fallen hard on the right side. Shattered the clutch cover and cracked the motor where the cover attaches to it in two places. No other damage visible on the motor anywhere else.

Created a Google Photos folder that I'll post pics in as she gets disassembled.

I think you can invite yourself to it or if you need me to send me a PM with your email address. That way you get updates when new pics are posted.

Just curious has the ECU been flashed or is it stock?

I'm not the original owner so don't know. And no idea how  I'd determine that.

Here is link to Google Photos folder with most of the available parts pictured.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/vyyw7pGJ5Tbx3nbs8

Minor things like brackets, bolts, connectors and those rubber matts are available. They just don't rank their own photo.

Email me if you need anything.

Motor parts are available. I just haven't gotten around to disassembling the motor.

As regards price: figure 25% of new, less for things that are silly expensive like the ABS controller or the throttle bodies.

The exhaust is $350 including postage in the USA.

The exhaust has been sold.

Link continues to show available parts.

Motor has been taken apart now so if you need internal parts message me with what you need. I'll make you a deal.
