I gave the Yamaha MyRide app a try, and now I use it.

It's not the same thing as you can't connect with the bike, but it works for me.

Rode over 80 miles today and tested the app.  It finds my phone quickly, even tells me when I get a text message (woo-hoo!) but any GPS tracking is a fail.  I was hoping to review my trip today and on every leg it looks like i just did a u -turn.  The data appears to be there, but the GPC tracking  part is broken.   I still can't even change rider modes with this thing.  I don't expect it to have all the functions of the H2, but I would expect some actual useful functionality.  :151:

it works about 40% of the time but takes 2-3 times to get it to connect. Honestly app is garbage its cool that it connects to your phone but honestly its not worth the battery drain.

AGREED, uninstalling.  Maybe I'll try it later if I hear they get it sorted out.

I use the app sometimes. its always logged my ride. I enjoy the app for the logs but the rider setting changes have never worked for me. The logging feature is actually really cool, gives speed, rpm, gear, mpg, temp, and shift patterns. you can replay the ride on the log and it shows your ride in real time. Always enjoy watching spirited downshift into tight corners. I use an apple FWIW.

With iOS it has some hiccups, one of my recent riding logs showed 171 miles in 28 minutes but the mph as well as my line of travel is fairly accurate, Iím in the US but once it said I was in Germany 😂 . I have no play feature on my riding logs, only shows a map of where Iíve been. Iíve gotten to where I donít really use it that much

Much better than Android. 2-3 updates ago, everything worked for me, but after that, its difficult to even start aplication, i must 3 times start aplication, first two attempts it crashes, third it works. But, after closing app, it stays active in background and drain battery, so eather force stop or restarting phone is a must.  Samsung S8

yes I have to double tap my home button on my iPhone and swipe it up to actually close the app which sucks, if not it stays active
