Long shot, but does anyone know if the 2018-2019 Z900 OEM frame sliders will fit the 2020+ Z900?

Kawasaki released kit 99994-0836 for the 2018-2019 Z900 and kit 99994-01350 for the 2020+ Z900.   I downloaded the Assembly Instructions for each.  Based on the parts listing, the only difference between the two are the brackets.  The sliders install to the same points and every other part is the same.

I have access to (have to buy) the older kit (at a good price) but will not be able to return it, hence my question.   My only thought on why new numbers on the brackets are they either redesigned them (are they stronger, fit better?) or the plastics may have changed requiring the change.

I am looking at a $100 price difference (cheaper)on the older kit.   :187:

I am pretty sure (like 85% sure) that the frame and bodywork is the same on both generations, with the differences coming in the upgraded ECU/tech, tires, headlights on the 20+ models

For what it's worth (maybe no help here?) but headers in US models are able to fit between the two generations

for a 100$ price difference, I'd probably look at the older ones and if they didn't work list them here/craigslist/ebay and try to recoup some of the spent cash, then go for the new ones.  Maybe a gamble, but I think you'd be good

15% wins it.  :034:
The frame is different and the plastics from the riders seat forward (except the front mudguard) are also different.
That is not to say that the sliders won't fit but $100 won't look like much money at all if it turns out they don't.
Tighten it 'til it strips then back it off half a turn.

I just bought some 2020 part # (1350) ones at a good price not realizing there maybe a difference, gonna "try" fitting them on my 2019.
Hope I'm in the 85% group   :001:
Results to follow.....

The 2020 ones dont fit on a 19.... side frame plastics got in the way of mounting bracket 🙁
 I tried.

Broderp,
these 2020 ones are going up for sale, be posted here in for sale section if your interested.
I paid $150 for them.

I don't know if '20 side trim pieces are the same?
The covers are about $75 each though so another $150 just to make them work- nope.

Also thought about swapping the mounting brackets, they were $20 each (need all 4 pieces)- not dropping another $80 either ATM and be close to what new was.
