Your dealer service interval is greyed out also so thats why no wrench icon on dash: dealer did not activated that "feature"

Any idea how that feature gets activated and or reset? (Does the dealer require a special service tool, or is there some sequence of button presses to do the same thing?) I wouldn't mind having it on, but would like to be able to reset it once I do the Service myself.

I think they use software for that, but not sure.

my wrench 🔧 come on early at 400 miles so I turned both service features off, I cannot recall the mileage it was set at. The dealer serviced the bike at 580 miles but they never turned anything back on. Havent seen the wrench again. Kawasaki made this confusing . I guess I could turn both back on if I wanted

When I picked up my 21 I talked with the guy about how I hated the BMW for it's service light that cannot be turned off without a dealer visit and he told me my bike wouldn't do that. Now I wonder.

Because it must be activated by dealer. If its greyed out in service Menu, it is deactivated and wont show.

I agree, but seems silly that they couldn't/ wouldn't allow this feature to be user activated and deactivated and skip the required trip to the dealer.  I would settle for always on and having the wrench pop - as long as I can reset it until the next service interval.   My wifes car does this and I simply follow a procedure after I do the service and rest the service light until the next service interval come around.  What is Kawasaki thinking?

You can activate rider service interval.
