Changing TFT display to white.
on: May 17, 2021, 06:27:17 AM
I saw a youtube video where someone pressed and held the right button under the TFT display and it turned it white. I tried that and it didn't work.

You have to press both buttons at the same time.
Motorcyclist - noun (moh-ter-sahy-klist)
: a person willing to take a container full of flammable liquid, place it on top of a hot, moving engine and then put the whole lot between their legs!

When I pressed both buttons it took me to a menu where I could only change the brightness level. Not the color.

For what it's worth here is the youtube video I was referring to where he presses the right button and holds it down.

Nevermind I figured it out the hard way. I looked in the owners manual. Not the real one under the seat the online one. It said that the display must be showing "Current mileage", "Cruising range", or "Battery voltage". In order to change background color. Not "Average mileage", "Average speed", or "Total time". Because holding the right button down then will just reset them.  Mine was set to "Total time" when I tried to change the color..
