Seat care protectant
on: June 06, 2021, 08:11:17 AM
I noticed my z has what appears to be brownish mildew stains on my seats.I used a toothbrush, some dish soap and lightly scrubbed while rinsing which removed some of it. Would light coat of a protectant like Armor All be helpful? Our climate is very humid year round

Wouldnt put armor all or youll slide right off!! Might try simple green as its pretty mild on most materials but works ok.

Definite no go on the armor all. Tried it once years ago on a dirt bike. First jump I stood still in the air while the bike slid right thru me  :164:

I betthat was a wild ride 🤩! I have used it on my ATV seats before for parades and Im guilty of using it on motorcycle seats at bike shows but I wipe it down completely with a dry rag and by the time Ive left the show the slickness is gone. BTW Simple Green did remove the mildew embedded in the grain of the seat, good stuff! Might try to clean my tire sidewalls with it, seems about the same as Awesome but without the unpleasant odor

Yea man. Wild ride for sure. Luckily did not get hurt but laugh my ass off. Simple Green is an awesome product for a multitude of applications. And yes it smells better than most products for same uses.
