Intro Fast Old Man in Oakland CA
on: June 15, 2021, 07:14:00 PM
My first m/c was a brand new 1979 Kawasaki GP400 parallel twin in 1979 when I was 21 years old.   This new 2021 Z900 may be my last motorcycle.    In between I've ridden and sport toured on just about everything, Italian twins, big and small 90's Yamaha sport bikes, big Harley's, big BMW K-bikes, and dual purpose big singles.    My little Ninja 600 in 1986 was my first "real" moto and I am glad to be back on a ripping Japanese 4 cylinder.    At age 63, I still ride fast and fearless, although with a bit more restraint that the old days of Marin Sunday Morning Ride.   I took 10 years off riding during most of my 50's to do yoga, eat healthy and date pretty hippy chicks.

I got my Z at the beginning of Winter last year and have been riding since.   Here's some pics:

That last pic was at the USGP at Laguna Seca in 1989.

Good on us for carrying on brother.    As they say, "Ride Fast/Don't Die"
