Unless you have a second OEM system to hand chopping up the stock system is a waste of time and money. You will regret it when its time to trade in.
Just get headers. Chinaprovic, Brack Ridow or Delkevic are cheap enough. Sell them when you move on/get sick of the racket.

Have never heard before that oem system is a benefit when trade in 😅
Link pipe comes with the adapter to weld on a bb, so you will always have an oem config with a minor invasion

Dealers want stock bikes.
They don't want to inherit problems caused by poorly executed modifications.
They will rarely pay you more for mods just the book price. Perhaps if it's high end stuff but not Chinese stuff.
If you can return the bike to stock and sell off the accessories you will be financially better off.
If you are a good welder or have a friend you can trust to weld straight true and gas tight then that's a bonus. Otherwise you will have to pay to repair the BB.
Tighten it 'til it strips then back it off half a turn.

Ahh ok then. Here in my country, 70% of the bikes are 2nd hand, lots of them bought after crash in USA, UK or esle.
So trade in is not a common thing here

Best I've seen from the dealer was a "look at that pipe!" in the description - price same as a stock unit. To a private seller though, it can be a benefit, especially on a newer bike.
