    TPMS anyone?

Anyone ride with internal (or external) Tire Pressure Monitoring System on their Z900?  If I get new tires, this would be the best time to install and or upgrade to metal Stems (if going external monitoring) so I am looking into this upgrade if possible.

Does anyone have any experience they care to share?

    Hi,
I've got a chinese TPMS that has a small rechargeable display that mounts on the handlebars. The valve caps they supply have a transmitter built in that send pressure & temp data to the head unit every few minutes. Works really well, cost about 30 to come direct  from China.
When I get chance I'll post up an image.
The reason I got it was ....................
the few times I've had a puncture it's a really odd feeling at the start of the deflation till you click what's going on. This gives you an early warning (screen goes red as pressure drops)
I like to check tyre pressures are correct,
Also the geek in me likes to see the temp/pressure variation on a ride/track day.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm also looking for some security and ease of telling my tire pressure without having to go thru the old school motions with a tire gauge, etc.  Motorcycles are extar bad in that it seems 90% of the time, the stem is not where I an get at it without rolling the motorcycle around.

I'd love to see your images if you have the time to share.   :821:

Tried them a few years ago unless they have improved a LOT there were a complete waste of money. You also have to balance your wheels after fitting.

With 83 degree valves fitted checking tyres is fast and easy, far less hassle IMO

Thank you!  Looks like its lasted thru some decent/ hard rides.  I will look into finding something similar.   I like the right angle valve stem....I would like to switch over to metal ones at my upcoming tire change.   :821:
