    I would be ok with it if they only detected during unsociable hours, but throughout the day it’s pathetic, there’s nothing more annoying than a helicopter or a low flying military plane, are these going to get fines to?

    I'm sure these devices will initially be used at hours of low traffic where there is no question as to who the offender is, such as late at night.

    I'm against any device such as these 'sound cameras' or 'speed cameras' because I believe that you have the right to face your accuser. Let the cop pull you over. It gives him something to do plus it allows you to explain yourself such as.. "my wife is having a baby" or "I have to go to the emergency room" or some such thing. You can at least defend yourself on the spot instead of getting a ticket in the mail. Big Brother is watching.

    Now having said that... I will gladly volunteer my neighborhood for the first sound camera in the hope I can finally get a good night's sleep.
