Suitably,  crossed 60k miles about 10 miles east of Warm Springs Nevada on the Extraterrestrial Highway!
Wind sustained 30-40 mph, gusts to 50. Dust blowing everywhere.
Luckily missed the cattle on the road.

New goal is 80k before I reach 75 years -- bit less than 2 years to go.

    Keep on riding!

Dang thatís some impressive mileage! Hope you and the bike go for a lot longer! How much have you had to do to a Z with that mileage?

Just normal maintenance and new tires every year! I seem to remember 1fix that was covered by warranty - when I get home I'll check.
Really, though, it has been flawless and I've never worried about a breakdown.
Unfortunately, can't get the 60k service until late July, so she'll have another few thousand miles by then.

Cool! No need to check was just wondering if it was pretty much basic maintenance. ✌🏻

    Outstanding!

I've found that the bikes I only ride in the twisty bits of road have a lot less miles than the bikes that are comfy enough to ride on longer trips. When I go out for a nice ride on my favorite technical roads, I'm gone for 3 hours but I've only ridden 75-100 miles! I need to get the Z out on some longer trips now that I have the tall seat and lower pegs.

Congratulations!  Good to hear the Z can go the distance (and YOU too lol!).

I just rolled past 3K on mine and was thinking of how long it's going to last, or if I will get a new one in a year or so and never find out.  I love the Z900, and I especially like the 2020 blue color for its semi-rareness around here. In fact, the only other Z900 I've ever seen was at a dealership, never out in the wild.
