    Gear for us big boys??

I'm 6' and 330lbs, 48 waist "currently" but trying to lose (yes, I know big guy / little bike  :001:... came out of my Mom with these genetics and been a chunk for all 52 years).

Looking for a new pair of riding pants (textile / air mesh) with removable liner mainly for the Spring + Summer.
Currently just going out in jeans - Recent ones were from 6th Gear Apparel and loved them, unfortunately a leg zipper got wonky + maxed the size although they do "custom" work but not sure on any pricing etc.
    May have to inquire.
Mainstream Alpinestars, TourMaster etc. name brand stuff seems to run smaller + limited sizes (their 4-5xl is like a size 44).
Sucks not having places around to try on stuff as well, always the online gamble..

Anyone with the big teddy bear figure + "muffin top" feature have suggestions, what gear you wearing?
    Thanks fellas.  :821:

Here’s a place that makes custom gear. I don’t know a thing about them. Check out the prices… ouch! 😳

    https://www.motoport.com/product-category/pants/

You might also call Vanson Leathers in Fall River, MA. They alter their gear.

    Wait, maybe these. https://www.motoport.com/product/cordura-street-jean-1000-denier/

I paid about $250 for my Revit Lombard 2 riding jeans but they fit me like a glove right off the rack. They’re well made and will hopefully last years.
Nothing sucks more than I’ll fitting riding pants.

With your dimensions you may do well with Vanson in Fall River. They do have an outlet there and you may be able to reach them by phone or at least get the time when you could have somebody look through the racks for you. You may luck out that somebody ordered a pair of pants but didn’t purchase them. They have loads of such items and sell that stuff cheap to get rid of it and it’s excellent quality. Or maybe they have something close that only needs minor altering. They are quick with their work and efficient at shipping.
I’ve bought a bunch of their stuff. I’ve even met the people who made some of my stuff.
    It wouldn’t hurt to try.

Looking around on their site the textile pants only went to a 3XL + $359, I'll keep shopping.

Yeah, Vinson is not cheap but you get quality. The real deals are in their showroom where they have tons of custom jackets and pants that people never picked up.
I’m surprised they even have a website. They’re pretty old school for a top brand. They’re still worth a phone call.
