If youíre riding long straight roads to get to the twisties, Iíd say the angel gt would be the better choice. Granted the sport tyres will be a bit better in the corners, but if youíve got lots of straight roads, youíll kill a set of sport tyres in no time.
From my experience, I doubt youíll find a better tire than the Bridgestone sport touring tires as far as range goes. I rode cross country on a single 10,700 mile trip on a set of new Bridgestone but-020 tires and there was still tread on them. So later that year I rode to Canada with a friend on the same 020 tires but at 14,000 miles the rear started slipping at even a hint of dampness on the road so I had a look, yep, the cords were coming through. I cursed at my friend, who rode behind me, for not warning me. I was in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia so I got a good hosing at a dealership for a new tire.
I have loved the Bridgestones for twenty years and wouldnít budge from them until I thought Iíd take a chance on the Conti RA3. Now I love the RA3 because of the feedback. To me theyíre worth the extra money for that reason.

I have over 5,000 miles on the RA3 and from the looks of them, Iíd be highly surprised if they didnít reach 10,000 miles. I run 36psi rear and 34-35psi front on the z900.

My ContiMotion on my other bike have 3-4,000 miles and show no real signs of wear yet.

I mount and balance my own tires so I buy them online at a savings and always replace them together. If budget is a concern and that crap oem tire is working for you thenÖ itís up to you.

I got rid of my stock Dunflops with 1500 miles on them while they still had all their tread. They were the crappiest tires I ever owned. They slid without pushing them.
    First long rideÖ OK
    Second long rideÖ WTF? 😳
Third long rideÖ Continental Road Attack 3 😁

Off topicÖ Iím currently watching "RRR" on Netflix. Iím not finished but so far itís excellent. 👍

    Well one last question.

What are the tire pressures I should start my journey on , especially if I'm doing 600 kms in one stretch ( with breaks in the middle ) with the journey time of around 9-10 hrs at 80 -100 kmph.

Iím using 36psi rear and 34-35psi front. I weigh 185 pounds/205 pounds with full gear. I find these pressures to be right for the roads Iím riding. I believe 42psi rear to be too high for a fairly light bike. The RA3 is wearing evenly at those pressures, and barely, so far, at that.

My ZRX1200 calls for 36psi both front and rear and that bike weighs 540 pounds fully fueled.

The Angel gets fine reviews, Iím sure youíll be happy with them. Any tire is better than what came with the bike. 🍻

I finished "RRR". I loved it. Two thumbs up. 👍👍

    For what it is worth
I ran them on a fairly well modded gsxs1000f and enjoyed them. I donít know about longevity as I just sold her but zero complaints on the first 400 miles or so.
