Have a look at Puig racing footpegs. Theyíre not lower as such, but theyíre thinner and donít have the chunky rubber on them, so they make your leg slightly lower. Got them on mine and theyíre much better.

Old photo, but you get the idea.

Another option is to fit Ninja ZX-6R foot pegs, which fit the Z900 as well. Usually they are a bit cheaper than the Puig Racing foot pegs. But the latter have the option of rotating them to your liking.

I use stock footpegs, gear shift lever is at lowest position possible without interfering with footpeg carrier - luckily, just right for me, any higher than that and ergonomics is suffering.

Just wanted to point that out if someone else had to adjust gear shift lever as low as possible and is considering thinner footpegs.

Do you have the "comfort" seat?

Personally, even with the higher 'comfort' seat and thinner ZX-6R foot pegs, my legs still get easily cramped when riding my Z900 - I'm 187 cm tall (6.14 feet).

Odd, Iím just about 6í 6Ē (197cm) tall and Iím fine with the high seat and lower pegs.
