Just joined the forum and I was wondering if there is a way to save threads/certain replies? Or a way to like them and reference personal liked items?

Is there a way to search within a subcategory such as maintenance/servicing?

Members who are Forum Supporters (see here ) are able to "bookmark" topics. Basically it's like a personal favourites list of topics. Fraid you can't "like" posts.

For your second question if you go to the "Search" facility here then look further down and you'll see "Choose a board to search in..."  So that allows you to search for a specific term within a particular board.
