Rear cowling (is it called cowling? - sorry for bad English) is not stressed? Stock seat setup is very close to it, just saying.

Hi, there's still a gap between the seat base & rear cowling.

Well first ride on bike after reversing back seat grommets and it does make seat better! Sits more level without pushing nads into tank. It’s not so awkward sitting on back of seat now. Thanks for that tip really makes a difference 👍🏻

Also tried this out yesterday on a 2 hour ride and did make an improvement not being pushed forward into the tank. :020:

I also tried it and turned the rubbers around again

because the thing is that the saddle now hangs more on the rear plastic

and while sitting I heard the cover creak luckily no damage to the cover

and I don't notice a difference I'm going to look for another saddle

Had no issue with the seat rubbing on the rear cowling, you can still run a piece of card around the back of the seat.
I also remove the seat last night to check for any rubbing and 100% nothing. I would still consider another seat if it would give you a 100% more support than the oem seat.

    Regards

There's a rectangular piece of foam rubber under the seat base that holds the battery down - have you had to reduce the thickness of that to avoid over-compressing it?

I checked mine after reading post about seat sitting on plastics but I’m not having that issue. Also made a point to check that foam piece that sits on battery and it’s same as it has been from before just same light impression from battery. I’m gonna keep an eye on it but I’m not having any clearance issues so far. Mine is tall oem seat if that matters?✌🏻

The issues with the seat hitting the plastics could be the result of a few things:

      Manufacturing tolerance
      The rider's weight
      Both of the above
