ABS/KTC issues after tires change

hello Z club!

so ive done a ton of work on my Z and i have a problem with the very last thing i did, seemingly easiest upgrade, perhaps ill advised, everyone hates on stock tires so i changed the sportmax (for no real reason) with michelin power 5s, i read alot of complaints about the stock tires and that sort of jived with my understanding of oem rubber so i swapped them out hoping to beat the cold rainy weather and any problems i hadnt experienced yet

unfortunately now i have an abs light on all the time and the traction control is going off to the point where i had to turn it off! it must be the tire change because everything was fine yesterday, i have 1000 miles on it so far

i did check the wheel speed sensor it looks fine and so does the rotor disk that it reads, they arent really located in a spot where i could have crimped them or dmg with my stand, i might have improperly balanced them with my little manual balancer but that seems unlikely too, maybe the computer just doesnt like michelins?

i checked all the most common issues, was wondering if anyone has had a simililar problem from just changing tires?

looks like i have to take it to the dealer unless we can figure this out

Welcome  .
It’s not the tires. Something happened with the ABS. Most likely the abs ring and abs sensor not lined up or a broken wire.

Thanks for reply, that's exactly what it was the ABS ring on the front is very fragile and I must have nicked it with the front stand, I couldn't see it visually, I was checking the front tire balance again and noticed it wobble, I straightened it with my hammer and now I'm back on the road
